In honor of World Breastfeeding Week\, this session is designed to support you on your breastfeeding journey\, offering guidance\, tools\, and community support. \n\n\n\nHere are the details:\n\n\n\nPikesville Library1301 Reisterstown Rd\, Pikesville\, MD 21208August 8\, 2025\, 2:00 PM – 4 PM \n\n\n\nLed by a nurse and certified lactation specialist\, this session will focus on the foundations of lactation including how milk production works\, how to establish a good latch\, feeding cues to look for\, and common myths and challenges around breastfeeding. The class is designed to offer evidence-based guidance in a supportive\, welcoming environment. \n\n\n\nThis lactation class is ideal for:– Pregnant individuals planning to breastfeed– New moms navigating the early days of nursing– Support partners who want to learn how to help \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor a deeper understanding of infant feeding\, this class provides a comprehensive overview for anyone interested.You’ll leave with practical tips\, resources\, and a better understanding of how breastfeeding works\, not just physically\, but emotionally and socially\, too. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll Class Dates & Locations:\n\n\n\n\n August 1st – Woodlawn Library from 2pm-4pm\n\n\n\n August 6th – Randallstown Community Center Library from 11 am-1pm\n\n\n\n August 8th – Pikesville Library from 2m-4pm\n\n\n\n\nAll sessions will run for 2 hours. Attendance is free\, but registration is required. \n\n\n\nThis is a great opportunity to ask questions\, get encouragement\, and connect with other parents.
